An educator-at-heart, Jessica provides college consulting and advising services with a caring, tailored approach to high school students and their families.

A former English teacher and attorney, she has worked with hundreds of students, ranging from those in middle school to law school, as well as professional writers, on writing and analysis. She brings a deep appreciation for student-centered learning and learning design, in addition to an understanding of higher education policy, to her college advising approach. 

Jessica earned her M.Ed. in Higher Education, with a focus on Student Engagement, from Penn State; her Certificate in College Counseling from the University of California, San Diego, Extended Studies; her J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco; and her B.A. in English and Communication from Wake Forest University.  She is a member of WACAC, the Western Association for College Admission Counseling.

She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and enjoys spending time with her daughter, husband, and dogs, Fig and Bagel. When not keeping on top of higher education, she is playing piano.
